When Jasprit Bumrah Flirted With His Wife Sanjana Ganesan On-Air

Indian cricket sensation Jasprit Bumrah and popular TV presenter Sanjana Ganesan have recently embarked on a new and exciting journey in their lives – parenthood. The couple, who tied the knot in a private ceremony back in 2021, have welcomed their first child, a baby boy named Angad Jasprit Bumrah.

The news of the arrival of their bundle of joy was met with tremendous excitement and well-wishes from fans and the cricketing fraternity alike. Jasprit and Sanjana, known for keeping their relationship under wraps until their wedding, have once again managed to surprise everyone with this joyous announcement.

This has paved way for an old interview that has recently been taking rounds online. Back in 2021 Bumrah made a lighthearted appearance on an interview for the International Cricket Council (ICC) ahead of his crucial match against New Zealand in the World Test Championship (WTC) final in Southampton. This interview was being taken by his wife Sanjana Ganesan.

As he walked into the interview, Bumrah playfully flirted with his Sanjana, "Where have I seen you before?" To which Sanjana humorously replied, "I am just around."

During the interview, Bumrah was presented with several of his Instagram photos, and he shared the stories behind them.

One of the photographs featured Bumrah proudly posing with the Border-Gavaskar Trophy, which India had clinched 2-1.

Bumrah explained, "This picture was taken after the 4th Test. I didn't play that Test. We won that Test. Our third-stringed side was playing, and we were a little skeptical about what was going to happen. But there was a lot of belief. All the youngsters stepped up. It's a memorable Test, a lot of happy days. We won the series in Australia, back-to-back, this was our second win."

Another snapshot captured Bumrah trying his hand at playing the guitar.

When asked about his guitar skills, Bumrah chuckled and admitted, "No, I don't play. This was back in 2014 when I was trying to learn. This was my sister's guitar, but it didn't really work out. It's just for a picture, I guess. I am still trying to learn, someday, but yeah, that's a work in progress." Sanjana expressed her anticipation for Bumrah's future guitar endeavors.

The interview also featured a photo where Bumrah showcased his impressive six-pack abs. Before delving into the details, Bumrah humorously inquired if Sanjana was responsible for selecting that particular picture, to which she responded in the negative. 

Bumrah explained, "This is a picture where I was working hard on my body, and a fitness transformation was going on. I used to tell everyone that I was a chubby kid, but after entering international cricket and playing at the highest level, I realized I had to change and get fitter. So, this is me trying to show off a little bit, I guess."

In a heartwarming moment, one of the selected photographs from the interview was from Bumrah's wedding. With a big smile on his face, Bumrah asked, "Who is there in this picture? I have seen this person before." 

He then fondly recalled, "It's the best day of my life, it happened recently. As you are aware of the memories, it was the happiest day of my life," referring to his marriage to Sanjana.
