Aiden Markram Reaches a Big Landmark in the SRH-KKR Game

Aiden Markram has been in stellar form with the bat in recent times. He has scored runs in international cricket as well as in franchise cricket and now he has got to another big landmark in his rapidly flourishing cricketing career.

He has crossed 3000 runs in T20s and reached this landmark in the ongoing SRH-KKR game in a run-chase as he tried to take his team over the line in a 172-run chase.  Aiden Markram is SRH's skipper in the IPL 2023 and is also South Africa's T20I captain now.

In international cricket, Aiden Markram has scored 966 runs in 34 T20Is with an average of 40.25 and a strike rate of 150.23. Talking about the ongoing SRH-KKR game, the match is quite evenly poised, with SRH needing 26 off 18 balls with four wickets in hand. SRH had lost four quick wickets for just 54, but Markram and Klaasen stitched together a 70-run stand. 

However, now both of them are gone, and the match is going right down to the wire with Marco Jansen and Abdul Samad on the crease.
