Former Indian skipper MS Dhoni will go down as one of the all-time greats of the game. He took Indian cricket to unprecedented heights and more importantly, made the entire country believe that the Men in Blue can actually win the ICC tournaments.

Despite achieving many great things as a captain and as a player, a section of fans feels that luck has played a big part in Dhoni's tenure as captain of the national side and his team winning the three major global events.

Addressing the same, Dhoni said that he enjoys it when people call him lucky and he further said that he wanted the team to do well.

"I enjoy when people say 'I am lucky', that is mainly because of the number of people that pray for me, the affection & admiration showed by lots of people. Country was my biggest motivation, always wanted the team to do well," said MS Dhoni during a brand promotion event.

As the 16th edition of the Indian Premier League (IPL) awaits the fans, the season might well also mark the last they may ever see the legendary MS Dhoni on the field again in the Yellow jersey.
