Team India have reached Pune and is ready to lock horns with the Bangladesh team for their fourth game of the World Cup 2023. Having won three in three, Rohit and Co. are booming with confidence and momentum in the initial stage of the tournament.

On the other hand, team Bangladesh did not have a good time in the last couple of games as they had to face defeats in both of them. Even though they delivered brilliantly against Afghanistan, they could not even manage to fight for the win against New Zealand and England.

IND vs BAN: Team Previews

India

Team India have not tinkered with their team in the previous three games but it seems they might rest a couple of players for this game considering they will be playing strong teams like New Zealand and England after this one.

Whether it's the Indian spin attack or the pace bowlers, they have been on top of the team India have played so far in this tournament. Considering the number of left-handers in the Bangladesh team, the team management can bring the off-spinner in place of Shardul Thakur.

Ravichandran Ashwin with his experience could play a huge role in this game, especially against the left-handers like Shakib AL Hasan and Najmul Hossain Shanto.

With the luxury of having an all-rounder like Hardik Pandya, captain Rohit Sharma would not hesitate to play three spinners, especially on these kinds of wickets.

Bangladesh

Bangladesh started their World Cup campaign with a comprehensive win against the Afghanistan team who have delivered one of the biggest upsets in the history of the cricket world by defeating England. But in the last two games, they have not been playing their best cricket.

Having quality seam bowlers like Mustafizur Rehman and Taskin Ahmed is a great luxury for the Tigers but a dip in their form have cost the team a couple of successive defeats. In three games, Mustafizur Rehman has picked just a couple of games. While Shoriful Islam has been outstanding in the first two games picking up five wickets.

Shakib Al Hasan could bring in the off-spinner Mahedi Hasan, who picked up a four-wicket haul against England. A couple of changes in this team would make a better unit in the game against India tomorrow.

IND vs BAN: Pune Pitch Report

The track at Maharashtra Cricket Association Stadium, Pune has featured seven ODIs until now, and has been impressive for the strokeplay. The pitch offers an even pace and bounce which gives an ultimate edge to the batters. With a scoring rate of 6.10 per over, we are expecting a high-scoring game. As any Indian pitch would offer, the track might be favourable to spinners as well especially when the ball gets a bit old which would be useful for the bowlers of both sides.

IND vs BAN: Winner Prediction

The Bangladesh team have the appropriate resources to deliver another upset in this World Cup, but considering their recent performances, they have not been up to the mark. So Rohit Sharma's Indian team have an edge over the Bangladesh Tigers, as they would look to win their fourth successive game in the tournament.
