The World Championship of Legends (WCL) 2024 is up and running in England, and India Champions reached the semi-final of the competition. They are scheduled to meet Australia Champions on July 12, with the Yuvraj Singh-led side eyeing to enter the final.
However, the journey was not-so-smooth for India, as they had to score a challenging total against South Africa in order to book a place in the competition's final. Courtesy of Yusuf Pathan's unbeaten 54, it happened in reality, and more significantly, the manner in which he thrashed Dale Steyn, easily the greatest bowler in the last two decades, left everyone in awe.

The six that Pathan hit came during the 19th over of India's innings. The former all-rounder, who recently won the Lok Sabha elections in the West Bengal, dispatched him over deep mid-wicket for six runs.
India, nevertheless, lost the match by 54 runs to South Africa. The Proteas put up 210/8 on the board, while India finished 156/6, with Yusuf remaining not out alongside Pawan Negi.
Notably, Yusuf's gritty knock had four fours and two sixes.
