The state of Pakistan cricket team can best be described in just two words: unstable and divided. The aftermath of the disappointing T20 World Cup run, a significant blow to their unity and leadership, has brought to light the team's current predicament.

It's not just the outside noise; players from within the team, along with their coach and the support staff, have come forward and talked about ego clashes and constant rifts among the team's players. The coach and support staff have expressed their concerns about the team's internal dynamics and its impact on their performance. 

Amidst all this, a video shared by a Twitter user claims that during a game, Shaheen Afridi refused to hug Babar Azam and instead allegedly pushed him to the side and celebrated with other team members.

Since then, the tweet has sparked a heated debate on the social media platform, with people sharply divided in the comment section; some support Babar, whereas others side with Shaheen.

To give a little backstory, Babar was originally the captain of the Pakistan team from 19-2023. However, following the team's unsuccessful campaign at the 2023 ODI World Cup, Shaheen Afridi took over the role as the Men In Green's new skipper until February 2024.

However, because of Shaheen's disastrous run in PSL as captain and failure to get good results for the national team in the two series he captained, Babar Azam was reinstated as Pakistan's skipper this year.

Now, once again, after their early exit from the T20 WC, numerous rumours suggest that Babar would have to step down as captain yet again.
