Young Indian opener Yashasvi Jaiswal registered a batting failure, as he was dismissed for nine runs in India B's second innings of the ongoing Duleep Trophy encounter against India A in Bengaluru. Opening the batting, Jaiswal fell prey to a poor delivery from Khaleel Ahmed, courtesy of a magnificent low catch from Dhruv Jurel.

The incident occurred during the fifth over of India B's second innings after they restricted the A team to a paltry 231-run total. India A skipper Shubman Gill's decision to persist with Khaleel paid rich dividends, as the experienced pacer drew the first blood for the A side, getting Jaiswal's prized scalp once again in the match

After starting his over with a dot ball, Khaleel bowled a full-length delivery around the leg stump. It was a freebie for Jaiswal, who could've easily dispatched it into the fence. However, the promising batter failed to capitalise on the delivery, managing only a tickle through to the wicket-keeper.

It was certainly not a cakewalk for Dhruv Jurel to take the catch, as the ball was travelling quickly. However, the keeper-batter showcased remarkable flexibility, claiming a stunning low grab.

India A pacers run riot as India B lose three quick wickets

After Jaiswal departed, India B lost two more quick wickets in the form of  Musheer Ahmed Khan and Abhimanyu Easwaran. Musheer, who slammed a valiant century in the first innings, became Akash Deep's first victim for a six-ball duck.

Meanwhile, skipper Easwaran sustained his rough patch, being dismissed by the same bowler for four runs. As of writing, India B were tottering at 31 for three, with Sarfaraz Khan and Rishabh Pant batting on 7* and 8*, respectively.
