Musheer Khan can't do anything wrong in the ongoing Duleep Trophy 2024 match between India A and India B at the Chinnaswamy Stadium. He scored a stunning hundred to bail his side out of a precarious situation and has now grabbed a stunning catch to hog the limelight.

Mukesh Kumar's short-ball does the trick for India B

The teenage sensation was at his imperial best with the bat, when others around him struggled for runs. Musheer, the younger brother of Sarfaraz Khan, showed grit and determination and slammed a brilliant 181 to steer his side, India B to 321 in their first innings.

In the process, he went past Sachin Tendulkar's 33-year-old record by smashing the fourth-highest score on Duleep Trophy debut. That was not all, he also got involved in the field and took a couple of sharp chances, but the highlight was the brilliant reflex catch to dismiss Akash Deep.

Mukesh Kumar, the India B bowler, came around the wicket and bowled a short of a length delivery into the body of Akash Deep, who failed to keep the ball down as it lobbed up in the air. Musheer, was standing at the short-leg position, but the ball swiftly went over his head, and the fielder had very little time to react.

However, the youngster showed his class and stuck both his hands out to grab a stunning diving catch. He turned back quickly and kept his eyes on the ball as Akash Deep was dismissed, courtesy, a brilliant catch.

India B bowlers dominate proceedings on Day 3

The India A batters got off to a decent start, and ended Day 2 with KL Rahul and Riyan Parag looking solid. However, once that partnership was ended, the middle and lower middle-order batters failed to put up a fight.

From 145/3, the team got bundled out for a paltry 231, with the India B bowlers dominating the proceedings. Navdeep Saini and Khaleel Ahmed were the pick of the bowlers, grabbing 3-wickets each.
