The 19-year-old Musheer Khan has once again announced himself with full style. He brought the house down with a glittering 150 runs in the India A versus India B match of the Duleep Trophy 2024, currently underway at the M. Chinnaswamy Stadium. Khan's innings told a tale of his skills and determination and was a strong dose for the ailing India B innings.

In the 102nd over, the milestone came in dramatic style as Khan, on the 87.1 kmph delivery from Kuldeep Yadav, cut the ball to deep cover and ran to collect his 150th run. An overthrow at the keeper's end allowed Khan to take an extra run to bring up his well-deserved century.

The scenes were absolutely iconic. The crowd erupted in a standing ovation, and his brother Sarfaraz Khan yet again beamed with pride as he celebrated the moment in full joy.

Musheer Khan's Don't Stop Till You Drop Pushes Team B Further

The first play session went well for India B, as they scored 88 runs off 30 overs without losing a wicket. The two wickets partnership between Musheer Khan and Navdeep Saini has been outstanding, knitted by them in 196 runs, out of which Khan's innings was quite imperative. On the other hand, Shubman Gill's India A were totally out of form and fortune.

In the day's opening session, the new ball gave something to India A's new bowlers, Avesh Khan and Akash Deep. Though a few deliveries tested Khan, he was obdurate, sometimes getting Saini to take a larger share of deliveries. Saini played the perfect second fiddle to Khan as he picked up regular boundaries and kept the strike rotating nicely.

The big 150 of Khan came when Shivam Dube and Kuldeep Yadav took over the attack, neither of whom could trouble him much. Though Riyan Parag managed to get Khan once, the decision was overturned with a review, and he continued to add runs. He again created another chance a bit later, this time with Navdeep Saini, but the final decision went against India A, leaving them without any options to contest. Doubtless, Khan's innings have propelled India B into a position of strength, as at the time of writing they are at 290/7.
