In the ongoing Under 19 Asia Cup semi-final between India and Sri Lanka, the Mohammed Amaan-led side are cruising towards a comfortable win. It has been a dominating performance from India, and they have had a near-perfect match.

The SL Under-19 team won the toss and opted to bat first. The decision turned out to be a nightmare as they bundled out for just 173 runs. Chasing 174, Vaibhav Suryavanshi and Ayush Mhatre shone again as the openers stitched a 91-run stand for the first wicket.

Suryavanshi Hits Two Back-To-Back Sixes

Meanwhile, 13-year-old Suryavanshi silenced his critics again as the new RR recruit hit another fifty-plus score. It is Suryavanshi's second straight fifty-plus score as he previously played a 76-run knock against Japan in the group stage.

Talking about the ongoing match, Vaibhav started his innings in style as he whacked Dulnight Sigeria for two consecutive sixes. Notably, on his 2nd and third ball of the innings, the southpaw toyed with the Sri Lankan bowler and dispatched two of his deliveries into the stand.

Suryavanshi Brings Up His Fifty With A Six

Vaibhav started the U19 Asia Cup on a low as he faltered against Pakistan and UAE. However, he has now regained his lost mojo and proved why he was picked by Rajasthan Royals for a whopping 1.10 crores at the age of 13.

In the ongoing match, Suryavanshi brought up his fifty in style as he took just 24 balls to complete his half-century and also smashed a six to reach his 50. At the time of writing this article, India are 116/1 and require just 56 runs to win off 232 balls. Suryavanshi bats on 58.
