In the 2nd Test between India and Australia at the Adelaide Oval, the visitors are in deep trouble as half of the side have returned to the pavilion for less than 100 runs on the board. Eyes were on skipper Rohit Sharma, who was playing his first Test of the series.

Rohit let his fans down as he returned to the pavilion with a score of just 3 (23). Notably, Scott Boland bowled a beautiful incoming delivery that hit on Sharma's pads. 

The fans were furious with the hitman as he has failed to score for India in Tests in the last 10 innings. It is worth noting that he has averaged just 12 in his last 11 innings. He demoted himself to No. 6 in the batting list but still failed.

Rohit Sharma Fails In The PM XI Warm-Up Match

It is worth noting that Rohit Sharma missed the first Test for India following the birth of his son. He joined the Indian team mid-way through the first Test. He preacticed a lot with the pink ball but the efforts went in vain as he failed to shine at Adelaide Oval.

Prior to this match, Rohit also played the warmup match against PM XI, where too he scored just three runs and got out trying a cover-drive.
