Shahbaz Nadeem, the all-time leading wicket-taker for Jharkhand has decided to retire from International cricket. Shahbaz has played two Test matches for India in which he picked 8 wickets while he has 542 first-class wickets in 140 matches. The man has been a legend for Jharkhand cricket and has been the pillar of their success for more than a decade.

Nadeem was known for his accuracy and ability to outfox batters with his subtle variations. He was successful across formats and along with 542 first-class wickets, he also picked 175 List A wickets and 125 T20 wickets. However, he did not get any chance to play for India after his second Test match against England at Chennai.

Shahbaz Nadeem also played 72 IPL games in which he picked 48 wickets but last played in the league in 2021 and seems that he has decided to ply his trade in T20 leagues around the world.

The left-arm spinner also mentioned that since he is not in the national selectors' radar anymore, he does not have enough motivation to play domestic cricket and wants younger players to take his place.
