Jemimah Rodrigues is one of the most classy batters in world cricket currently and she is a treat to watch whenever she gets going. In the 12th match of WPL 2024, the first one to be played at Delhi, the home team scored massive 192 while batting first with Rodrigues smashing 69* off just 33 balls.

The right-handed batter hammered eight fours and three sixes during her knock and accelerated beautifully as her innings progressed. Jemimah Rodrigues scored just 13 runs in her initial 14 balls but then started smashing it all around the park with 56 runs coming in next 19 balls.

Throughout her knock, Jemimah displayed great skills, as she used power and placement beautifully, finding gaps with precision. Along with Rodrigues, Lanning also scored a fifty while Shafali Verma blasted 28 off just 12 balls.

DC bowlers in reply, did their job to perfection and picked early wickets with the ball to put MI in all sorts of trouble. These two teams first met in WPL 2024 in the opening game of the season and MI got out of the jail in that game with a thrilling last-ball win. 

MI also emerged victorious in the final of WPL 2023 between these two sides and the battle between the two is slowly emerging as one of the fiercest in the brief WPL history so far.
