Saim Ayub is one of the finest young talents in Pakistan cricket currently and has played many sparkling knocks in PSL 2024 so far. In the 21st match too, he started off with a bang, and got off the mark with trademark pull shot that sailed all the way over the fence.

It was a shortish delivery from 'round the wicket, angling into Saim Ayub from Mohammad Ali. The left-handed batter waited for it and played his trademark pull shot that went all the way. Saim Ayub continued his great start in the Powerplay as he hammered Multan Sultans bowlers all over the park.

Babar Azam, at the other end, also did not take any time to settle as he hit some glorious shots leaving Multan Sultans bowlers completely clueless. Peshawar Zalmi ended up hitting 71 in the Powerplay and would be looking to post a massive total on the board against a quality Multan Sultans unit. 

Multan Sultans are at the top of the table currently with six wins in seven matches while Islamabad United have won three and lost three with one game abandoned due to rain. It would be interesting to see how this game unfolds with Rizwan's team under early pressure.
