Mohammad Rizwan scored an unbeaten fifty in Pakistan's win over Canada, but his low strike-rate has been a constant point of discussion, and after a scratchy knock against Ireland in Florida, the debate is likely to intensify. The Pakistan wicketkeeper batter scored 16 off 17 balls, and when he tried to break the shackles with a big hit, he ended up holding out in the deep.

Rizwan hit three boundaries in his knock, but struggled overall, for his timing and finally it led to his downfall in the 6th over. It was a length delivery on middle and leg, and Rizwan whipped it uppishly. The intention was always to hit it into the crowd, but the timing was not that good and Mark Adair at deep backward square leg took a fine catch over his head, just few inches away from the rope.

The wicket reduced Pakistan to 39-2 in their run-chase, and after his wicket they lost wickets in flurry to get reduce to 57-5 in the 10th over. Earlier, Pakistan reduced Ireland to just 106 with Pakistan pacers hunting in pack in helpful conditions. Imad Wasim also picked three wickets at the backend, but once again Pakistan's batting is looking below-par in a small run-chase.
