In the ongoing match between Pakistan and Ireland at the Central Broward Regional Park in Florida, the Men in Green won the toss and asked Ireland to bat first.

Pakistan, who are out of the World Cup, had nothing to lose and that was reflected in their bowling, as the seamers breathed fire. Shaheen Afridi took three wickets, but power hitting from the lower-middler order helped the Irish post 106/9 on the board.

Besides the seamers, Imad Wasim too hogged the internet as he took the first wicket for Pakistan by a spinner in this World Cup. Wasim took three wickets. Meanwhile, Shaheen and Usman were also the talk of the town because of their collision while taking a catch.

Notably, for Mark Adair's wicket, Shaheen and Usman Khan ran together for the catch without any communication. Eventually, Shaheen caught the ball but the two collided with each other and fell to the ground. Thankfully, no player was injured in what looked like a bad collision.

Pakistani legend Wasim Akram, who was on air during that incident, took a dig at Pakistani players and remarked that the players usually get lost in their own thoughts.

"Game and situation awareness is not something the coach can teach you. You should be able to read all that when playing at this level. Sometimes Pakistan fielders get lost in their own thoughts."
