The T20 World Cup 2024 campaign has not gone Pakistan's way, and they have only pride to play for against Ireland. However, after Babar Azam decided to bowl first after winning the toss, his bowlers responded brilliantly and reduced Ireland to 32-6 in no time.

Shaheen Afridi started the demolition work which was continued by Mohammad Amir and then Haris Rauf also got the better of Curtis Campher to put Ireland in all sorts of trouble. The wicket of Campher came on the third delivery of the seventh over when Haris Rauf bowled a short delivery to the right-hander. 

The Irish batter tried to pull it, but only managed a huge top edge and Saim Ayub moved to his left from square leg to complete an easy catch.

Earlier, Shaheen Afridi got the wickets of Andrew Balbirnie and Lorcan Tucker in the very first over of the match, and Ireland just kept losing wickets as the wicket helped pacers after being under covers in the last few games.

Ireland are also playing their last game of this T20 World Cup and have not won a single game, so they would be desperate to show some character and make a statement against Pakistan before signing off.
