RCB and their slogan of 'Ee Sala Cup Namde' has finally come true after a long wait and what men's team could not do in 16 years, Smriti Mandhana and co. have managed to do in just their second attempt.

It was a win that was scripted by their spinners as they managed to hunt down Delhi Capitals for just 113 after Shafali Verma gave the home team a blistering start. DC were 64-0 at one point in time, but Sophie Molineux took three, Shreyanka got four wickets and Asha got two big scalps as well as RCB were left with straight forward run-chase.

However, the match still went to the final over as RCB were bit cautious in the middle overs but Richa Ghosh kept her cool and slammed a boundary off the third delivery of the final over as RCB camp bursted in joy.

The crowd was ecstatic too, as they flocked the stadiums in great numbers to support RCB despite this being Delhi Capitals' designated home crowd. Smriti Mandhana's name will be written in golden letters in RCB history now and this could just be the start of many more eye-catching title wins for RCB.
