The Royal Challengers Bangalore levelled up their game after the powerplay and bowled out Delhi Capitals for just 113 runs. Sophie Devine and Smriti Mandhana started off positively and the former took on Delhi's premier left-arm spinner Radha Yadav for 18 runs in the seventh over of the innings. 

With a cautious start of just 25 runs for no loss in the powerplay while chasing 113, Sophie Devine was looking for an opportunity to take on a bowler and ease some pressure and turned things around with her peach hitting in Radha Yadav's first over. 

Radha Yadav, who is also among the leading wicket-takers of the season, became a victim of Devine's hunt and could not find a breakthrough for her team. her 18-run over not only eased the pressure but also opened the chase for the Challengers, who have played a brilliant brand of cricket in this final.

Devine, who was not having the best of time in the tournament, seized the opportunity and slammed 18 runs in a single over. 

On the very first delivery of Radha Yadav, the right-hander got a boundary and continued her momentum. It was the fifth delivery of the over, where Devine was invited to come out, which she did and smoked a monstrous six over the long-off. 

Eventually, she got out in the eighth over, but she already did her part and provided a flier of a start with her 32-run knock.
