[Watch] ‘RCB RCB’ Chants Engulf Delhi Metro Ahead Of WPL 2024 Final Vs DC

The Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) fandom seems to have taken over the Delhi Gate area as they made their presence felt inside its metro station ahead of the team’s much-awaited WPL 2024 final against Delhi Capitals.

In what was supposed to be a ‘home’ final for the Capitals, the support for Meg Lanning and co. might well be outnumbered by the passionate RCB fans at the Arun Jaitley Stadium, if the buzz generated around Delhi Gate Metro Station was any indication.

A couple of hours prior to the launch of WPL 2024 final, hundreds of fans flocked at the Delhi Gate Metro station to make their way to the nearby Arun Jaitley Stadium. Remarkably, even though the final is supposed to be a home-affair for the Delhi Capitals team, it were the passionate RCB fans who engulfed the metro station with loud and booming chants of ‘RCB, RCB’.

As far as the WPL 2024 final itself is concerned, ‘home’ team captain Meg Lanning won the toss and opted to bat first. The Capitals reached the finals after topping the WPL 2024 points table with six wins from their eight fixtures.

The RCB Women, on the other hand, finished third on the five-team standings before knocking defending champions Mumbai Indians out of the competition in the Eliminator.
