Delhi started on positive not right from the start with Meg Lanning and Shafali Verma getting boundaries. They raced to 64 in no time but the wicket of Shafali changed everything as wickets started tumbling in that very over. Sophie Molineux picked three in the over to put brakes on Delhi's scoring rate. After that, everything RCB touched turned into gold. Wickets kept falling with Shreyanka Patil bagging four in a matter of time. RCB's remarkable turnaround ensured that DC were bowled out for 113 inside the 19 overs.

After that, RCB in the second innings, had a slow start with Smriti Mandhana and Sophie Devine at the crease. However, they soon recovered with Devine finding boundaries. Devine and Smriti both departed but Ellyse Perry and Richa Ghosh finished the game for them in the end as they found boundaries regularly. Five required off the last over and Richa's four on the third delivery sealed RCB their Maiden WPL title!!

Delhi Capitals have won the toss and have opted to bat.

18:08 (IST) Mar 17

RCB, on the other hand, have blown hot and cold but managed to beat MI in consecutive matches to stage a dramatic turnaround after the lows of the first season. Ellyse Perry has been the star of the show in the last couple of games but their Indian talent has delivered this season which is a great sign coming into the final. Also, Sophie Devine has not fired but she is due for a big performance, and RCB would be hoping that she chooses the summit clash for the same.

RCB have never beaten DC in the four clashes between the two teams in WPL history and the heartbreak of the most recent game between the two sides, would be still hurting Smriti Mandhana and co. Can they turn the tables in the game where it will matter the most? Let's find out in what is expected to be a cracking contest.

If you want to dive deeper into the insights of this game, click here.

18:05 (IST) Mar 17

The home team, Delhi Capitals have been the team to beat this season and have lost only two games on their way to the final. They have come out all guns blazing with the bat with likes of Shafali Verma, Lanning, Capsey, Rodrigues all delivering goods. On the bowling front, they have great experience with likes of Kapp and Shikha Pandey and after the disappointment of the last season, DC would be hoping to cross the final hurdle this time around.

17:52 (IST) Mar 17
