'I'm A Different Beast When...' -Shreyanka Patil's Reflection On Her Exceptional WPL Final Spell

Following her exceptional performance in the final, Shreyanka Patil emanates confidence. Addressing the crowd, she boldly states that she transforms into a different beast when faced with a turning wicket. Her pivotal dismissal of Meg Lanning in the final further solidifies her prowess.

Shreyanka completed what Molineux initiated for RCB. Initially, Delhi Capitals seemed poised for a hefty score after Molineux claimed three wickets in a single over. However, the momentum shifted dramatically at the Arun Jaitley Stadium in Delhi, becoming the Shreyanka show. She clinched four wickets in the final, including the pivotal dismissal of Meg Lanning.

In addition to Meg Lanning's wicket, Shreyanka also claimed the wickets of Arundhati Reddy, Minnu Mani, and Taniya Bhatiya. She bowled 21 deliveries, conceding only 12 runs while taking 4 wickets, maintaining an economy rate of 3.40. 

Shreyanka delivered an outstanding bowling performance in the eliminator  as well, against the Mumbai Indians. It was Shreyanka who took the wicket of Mumbai skipper Harmanpreet Kaur when Mumbai wanted 20 runs from 18 balls. Harmanpreet was steadily steering Mumbai towards their target, but Patil's crucial dismissal of Harman shifted the momentum in favor of RCB.

"I really enjoyed each and every moment of the first innings. Yes there was something in the wicket and if there is a little turn I love to take it to my advantage because I'm a different beast when I see turn in the wicket," Shreyanka during the mid-innings interview.

Shreyanka Patil clinched a total of 13 wickets throughout the tournament. Shreyanka is the Purple cap winner of this season.  Noteworthy is the fact that six of these pivotal wickets were secured during the high-pressure knockout stages. Shreyanka's prowess in delivering during critical moments underscores her reputation as a player who thrives under pressure, consistently making a significant impact when it matters the most.
