In an interesting decision, Rajasthan Royals announced Rahul Dravid as their new head coach for the upcoming IPL 2025 season. Dravid, who coached India to their second T20 World Cup title, stepped down from the post after the mega event, and was quickly snapped by the Royals.

Dravid's return made more special by Fabrizio

Dravid, has a long-standing association with the Pink Army. He played for the Rajasthan Royals from 2011-13, and then mentored them for the 2014 season, before joining the Delhi Daredevils. Now, after almost 9-years, Dravid returned back to his home, and will start his new role soon.

The Rajasthan Royals announced Dravid's arrival with a picture of him receiving the jersey from the CEO, Jake Lush McCrum. Now, this is where the interesting part comes in. 

Famous Football journalist, Fabrizio Romano, who is popular with his catch-phrase- Here We Go, replied to the tweet with his signature phrase, thus, adding excitement for the arrival of the former India coach.

Dravid has a tough task ahead as RR coach

Dravid has his task cut-off, especially with the IPL auction taking place before the next season commences.

The mega auction will disrupt RR's core team, which they have built over the years, and Dravid will have the responsibility to build a strong team once again. RR franchise have plenty of youngsters in their squad, and Dravid, being excellent with the youngsters, will be expected to nuture their skills.

Plus, Dravid has a winning mentality and has been a serial winner, both with India Under-19 and India senior squad. Thus, he'll be expected to deliver the title in a couple of years. Rajasthan last won the IPL title in 2008, which was the inaugural IPL season.
