Mohammed Siraj and his heroics in the Asia Cup final will be remembered for a long time and it seems that Sri Lanka are still haunted by it as the repercussion of that demolition are clearly evident at the Wankhede. Siraj has not been in the best of forms in World Cup 2023 but against Sri Lanka he turns into a different beast and has ran through Lanka's top order yet again with superb display of seam and swing.

He took three wickets in his first two overs itself, the third one of it being of Kusal Mendis, the Lankan skipper. It was a dream delivery, a perfect delivery that hit the top of the off stump.

It was a good-length delivery on middle and off, angling into Kusal Mendis. He tried to defend it but the ball seamed away just a bit and knocked over the off pole.
