Young Bangladesh leg spinner Rishad Hossain turned out to be the wrecker-in-chief for Bangladesh as his clinical three-wicket haul rattled Sri Lanka in the ongoing T20 World Cup match between the two sides. After dismissed Charith Asalanka and Wanindu Hasaranga, Rishad got rid of Dhananjaya de Silva to rattle the Lankans in this high-voltage clash.

The incident occurred during the seventeenth over of Sri Lankan innings when they were in a spot of bother, having lost five wickets. Bangladesh skipper Najmul Hossain's decision to bowl out Rishad paid rich dividends, with the leg spinner removing De Silva on his first ball.

It was a flighted leg break in the stumps, turning away from the batter after pitching around the good length.

De Silva went for a slog sweep as his back foot went out of the crease. Litton Das capitalised on the situation, collecting the ball and dislodging the bails in a flash. His incredible glove work reminded fans of MS Dhoni, who used to execute such dismissals with ease.

Meanwhile, riding on a sensational bowling effort, Bangladesh have reduced Sri Lanka to 116 for seven in 18.3 overs as of writing. Considering the track has played well so far, a victory seems to be on the cards for the Tigers.
