Bangladesh have won the battle of nerves. They won the toss and invited Sri Lanka to bat first. Sri Lanka had a good start to their innings. However, they lost their plot in the last five overs and could manage only 124/9 in their 20 overs. 

In the chase, Bangladesh were given a rude shock by Sri Lanka with some early wickets. However, Towhid Hridoy and Litton Das stitched a 63-run partnership and got Bangladesh going towards a win. But Sri Lanka were not ready to go down without a fight. Wanindu Hasaranga and Nuwan Thushara picked up a few wickets towards the end and the match was in the balance. 

But the fact, that Sri Lanka did not have a recognised bowler for the last two overs hurt them. In the end, Bangladesh held their nerves and won the match by two wickets with six balls remaining in the game.
