The third day of the Duleep Trophy's second match between India C and India D at the Rural Development Trust Stadium, Anantapur, was packed with excitement. India C’s Aryan Juyal delivered a solid performance, guiding his team with a well-composed innings of 47 runs. 

Juyal, who was edging toward a half-century, fell just short after building momentum in his team’s chase of 233 runs. His efforts, along with Rajat Patidar, helped India C recover after early losses, forming a valuable 88-run partnership.

Harshit Rana’s Stunning Catch

The highlight of the day came during India C’s second innings when Arshdeep Singh bowled the 39th over. The right-handed batter attempted to loft a shot over extra cover, but it didn’t go as planned. 

The ball caught the edge of the bat, sending it high into the air. Positioned at deep point, Harshit Rana leaped into action and pulled off a spectacular catch, reminiscent of South African legend Jonty Rhodes' renowned fielding acrobatics.


India C On The Verge Of Victory

India D in their second innings posted a score of 236, with India C needing 233 runs for victory. Ruturaj Gaikwad (46) and Sai Sudharsan (22) had started the chase but departed after playing a crucial knock. It was the partnership between Rajat Patidar and Aryan Juyal that anchored the innings, giving India C a fighting chance. 

With only 26 runs required for victory at the time of writing, India C appeared well on their way to sealing the win.
