Fakhar Zaman is one of the finest strikers of the ball in Pakistan currently and whenever he gets going, it is quite hard to stop him. He was in his belligerent form against Karachi Kings in the 26th match of PSL 2024 and scored 54 before getting run out courtesy of a casual approach and a direct hit from Irfan Khan.

Fakhar Zaman smashed two sixes and five fours in his knock and looked all set for a big one but he is innings was abruptly cut short in the 11th over. It was the third ball of the over and Pollard bowled a length delivery on the off stump line to Shafique. He worked it towards mid-wicket and immediately decided to take two.

Fakhar Zaman at the other end also reacted positively to his partner's call and ran the first one quickly. However, he would have not expected a direct hit from Irfan Khan Niazi who came running in from deep to mid-wicket and fired a direct hit at non-striker's end to leave Fakhar Zaman and Lahore Qalandars completely shocked.
