On Sunday, Islamabad United will lock horns with Multan Sultans in match 27 of the ongoing Pakistan Super League season. The high-voltage clash is scheduled at the Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium.

Talking about Islamabad United, the Shadab Khan-led side is placed third in the points table with four wins in nine outings. This is a do-or-die face-off for the United, as only a victory can help them qualify for the playoffs.

In the previous game, Islamabad made three changes to the playing XI, replacing Jordan Cox, Rumman Raees and Naseem Shah with Hasan Ali, Matthew Forde and Tymal Mills, respectively.

While Mills and Haider performed well, Forde failed to scalp a single wicket in the last fixture against Karachi Kings. So, moving on to this game, the United will likely bring Naseem back, excluding Forde from their playing XI.

Naseem has had an impressive PSL season with the ball, scalping nine wickets in seven matches at an average of 23.77 and a strike rate of 18.66.

Islamabad's rest of the playing XI is likely to be the same, with Alex Hales accompanying Colin Munro at the top order, followed by Agha Salman, Shadab Khan, Azam Khan and Haider Ali in the middle order.

Imad Wasim will play as the specialist allrounder, with Naseem leading the pace attack with Faheem Ashraf, Hunain Shah and Tymal Mills.
