Ruturaj Gaikwad, who was in excellent form while captaining Chennai Super Kings (CSK) in IPL 2024, kept on doing wonders in the ongoing Maharashtra Premier League (MPL), where he captains Puneri Bappa in a six-team tournament.

On Thursday against Raigad Royals, Gaikwad smashed three sixes and two fours in a 28-ball 36, although it all went in vain after he came to bat at No. 6 while chasing 200 against the Royals. In fact, Puneri Bappa could only muster 129/8 in reply of Royals' 199/4.

In a video shared by JioCinema, Ruturaj was seen bashing the opposition bowlers in left, right, and center. He was seen doing the same in the past as well, as his previous scores of 35-ball 61 not out and 21-ball 38 suggest.

Despite Gaikwad's impressive form, Puneri Bappa are placed fifth on the points table, having lost twice in three attempts thus far. 

Ratnagiri Jets are the table-toppers, with three wins in three matches, while Eagle Nashik Titans are just behind them, having got a 100% winning record in their two games.
