Ruturaj Gaikwad was in good form in IPL 2024, and he has carried that form in Maharashtra Premier League as well for Puneri Bappa. In the first game of the season, he he hit 38 off 21 balls while in the second game, he has now smashed 61 off just 35 balls to take his team to a good score in a 14-over game against Kolhapur Tuskers.

He came out to bat at number 5 and started going from the onset, hitting four sixes and four fours in his knock. One of those was a powerful pull shot that went like a tracer bullet over deep mid-wicket.
