[Watch] Beth Mooney Stunned By Marizanne Kapp With Bizarre Wicket Around Her Legs

Beth Mooney, the skipper of Gujarat Giants has displayed good consistency in WPL 2024 after a slow start to the season. However, in the final game of the season, she could not make much of an impact and was bowled around her legs for a five-ball duck.

It was the first over of the game and Marizanne Kapp bowled a good-length delivery which swung on the pads of Beth Mooney. She tried to flick it but the ball brushed her pads and knocked over stumps to create frustration for GG captain.

Her wicket was just the start and GG were soon reduced to 48-5 as their middle order once again failed to deliver. Marizanne Kapp got Mooney's opening partner Laura Wolvaardt as well who has been in decent form while the likes of Gardner and Litchfield were outfoxed by Minnu Mani and Ashleigh Gardner.

This is the last league game of WPL 2024 and DC Capitals are all set to play their second consecutive final while Gujarat Giants have continued to struggle in WPL after the lows of the first edition. DC look like a more confident team this time around and would be looking to win this game and take that winning confidence into the all-important final.
