Mumbai Indians, one of the most celebrated franchises in the Indian Premier League (IPL), recently unveiled their new jersey for the upcoming edition of the tournament, starting a fresh chapter in collaboration with their new kit manufacturer, Skechers.

Now, a week after the launch, the franchise has provided fans with a first glimpse of their star players donning the new jersey through a unique video shared on Twitter. The jersey maintains the team's iconic royal blue hue, enriched with striking golden stripes along the shoulders and sides.

In a video that went viral in no time, key players including Rohit Sharma, Suryakumar Yadav, Ishan Kishan, Jasprit Bumrah, newcomer Akash Madhwal, Shreyas Gopal, Tilak Varma, and the newly appointed captain Hardik Pandya featured.

The montage showcased these cricketing stars in different poses, sporting the new MI jersey. The post was aptly captioned "FIRST LOOK - Our Stars In Our New Kit", igniting anticipation among the Mumbai Indians' vast fanbase.

Meanwhile, the five-time IPL champions are set to embark on a quest for their sixth title under the leadership of Hardik Pandya. After a disappointing conclusion to their previous campaign, where they were ousted in Qualifier 2, the team will be eager to reclaim their glory.

Ahead of the IPL 2024 season, Mumbai Indians bolstered its squad with Hardik Pandya’s trade. The franchise has also invested in talent such as Gerald Coetzee, Dilshan Madushanka, and Mohammad Nabi, aiming to address any gaps and enhance the team's overall performance.

The Mumbai-based franchise is scheduled to kickstart their IPL 2024 journey against Gujarat Titans on March 24th in Ahmedabad.
