Shoaib Malik has been the talk of the town since his marriage with Sana Javed and divorce with Sania Malik but rather than answering to his critics, he has made his bat talk quite a few times in PSL 2024. He recently also hit a last-ball boundary to take his team over the line against Lahore Qalandars, however, against Babar Azam's Peshawar Zalmi he could not stay till the end and left his fans and wife heartbroken.

Naveen-ul-Haq cleaned up Malik at a crucial juncture as the old warrior tried to force the issue with a wild slog. It was the 18th over of the second innings and the match was quite evenly poised. Naveen-ul-Haq was punished on the first delivery of the over by Malik and tried to do the same on the second delivery as Naveen bowled it on a length, angling into off. 

The right-handed batter swung his bat wildly but the ball sneaked between his bat and pad to knock over his off pole. Things got quite difficult for Karachi Kings after that and the equation again came down to 4 needed off the final ball but Aamer Jamal could not repeat Shoaib Malik's heroics as Peshawar Zalmi registered a thrilling victory

Karachi Kings were out of the playoff race before this game but Zalmi with this win have sealed the spot in top 2 and will play Qualifier on 14th of March.
