Rohit Sharma put on a scintillating show against Australia on Monday (June 24) when India were in action at Daren Sammy National Cricket Stadium in a crucial T20 World Cup 2024 match.

After smashing Mitchell Starc on left, right, and centre, Rohit took the attack on Marcus Stoinis, leaving Virat Kohli in absolute awe in the dugout.

The carnage against Stoinis came during the eighth over of India's innings, when Rohit went bonkers, smashing a four, followed by two biggies. While the first six went over deep backward square leg, the second one was gorgeous, going over deep extra cover after coming down the track.

Kohli particularly enjoyed the way Rohit dispatched Stoinis for a six over deep extra cover, and he could not stop himself from giving him a round of applause by clapping with both hands.

At the time of writing this, Rohit has lost his wicket after a 41-ball 92. India, riding on his heroics, have raced to 131/3 after 11.5 overs. Shivam Dube and Suryakumar Yadav are in the middle at this moment.
