Rohit Sharma, a name that resonates with skill and talent, stands as one of the most outstanding cricketers in modern cricket history. 

His ability to consistently astound fans and opponents with his exceptional shots was on full display in the Super 8 match against Australia in the T20 World Cup 2024, held at the Daren Sammy Stadium on June 24.

Australia won the toss and opted to bowl first against India, a decision that seemed favorable initially as Josh Hazlewood dismissed Virat Kohli in the very first over. 

However, Rohit Sharma soon unleashed absolute carnage against the Aussies, bringing up a quick-fire fifty in just 19 balls. This made him the third Indian batter to achieve such a feat in T20 World Cup history.

The highlight of Rohit's innings occurred in the 5th over when Pat Cummins came to bowl. The Indian skipper smashed Cummins for a four and a single, reaching his 31st T20I fifty and marking the fastest half-century in this tournament.
