Rishabh Pant has been in good form in T20 World Cup 2024, and has played number of important knocks in the tournament. In the game against Australia too, he started off on a bright note too, and smashed a six and a four in his 15-run knock. 

The six came off the bowling of Adam Zampa on the very first ball, and it was a typical audacious Pant shot against the spinner. It was a tossed up delivery on middle and off. Pant danced down the track and hammered it high and long over long on for half-a-dozen.

However, Pant could not carry on his good start and Stoinis got the better of him in the 8th over to hand India their second wicket. Rohit Sharma though, on the other hand, is batting brilliantly and is taking apart Australian bowling attack apart and at the time of writing, he has Suryakumar Yadav to accompany him.

Earlier, Mitchell Marsh won the toss and elected to bowl first and India lost Virat Kohli early with Hazlewood outfoxing him with a sharp short delivery. Aussies are coming into this game on the back of a loss against Afghanistan and with India going at a rapid pace, the pressure is surely on the Kangaroos.
