Virat Kohli started off his knock with a boundary and then hit some lovely shots and eventually crossed the 38-run mark which made him just the third batter in IPL history to score 1000 runs against KKR. The right-handed batter joined David Warner and Rohit Sharma in the list and reached the 1000 run-mark in just his 32nd innings against KKR, the winners of IPL 2024.
David Warner has the most runs against KKR with 1093 runs in just 28 innings while Rohit Sharma has 1070 runs in 34 innings. Virat Kohli is not only scoring runs in the opening match of IPL 2025, but is doing that at a rapid rate, and it has shown the world why he is still one of the best in the world.
