RCB's bowling has always been a cause of worry in their IPL history, but their bowlers have started IPL 2025 on a bright note. On a flat deck at the Eden Gardens, the RCB bowlers were put under pressure by Rahane and Sunil Narine. However, their bowlers have crawled back nicely and have taken big wickets in the middle overs to stop the KKR onslaught.

Krunal Pandya Shows His Class With A Three-Wicket Haul

The wicket of Rinku Singh was one of the the big wickets for them, and it came courtesy a brilliant delivery by Krunal Pandya. The veteran first got the big wickets of Ajinkya Rahane and Venkatesh Iyer, and then removed Rinku Singh on the final ball of the 15th over.

It was a shortish delivery, pushed quicker through the air and Rinku Singh tried to pull it. He, however, missed it completely and the ball shattered the stumps to leave KKR in all sorts of trouble. It was a big, big wicket for RCB, which naturally made Virat Kohli happy and he charged towards Krunal Pandya to hug him with great passion.

It was a classic Virat Kohli celebration which shows his passion for the game and the Krunal Pandya inclusion has worked in the opening game for RCB. After the wicket of Rinku Singh, Krunal Pandya also fell in the next over and KKR were reduced to 150 for 6.

Kolkata Knight Riders are the defending champions, but they are under pressure in the opening game now and it would be interesting to see how they deal with it in the second half.
