Sanju Samson won the toss and opted to bat first in Match 4 of the IPL 2024 at Sawai Mansingh Stadium, Jaipur. There will not be many surprises, as Samson has confirmed, as their newest addition, Rovman Powell, is expected to make an impact substitution.

On the other hand, KL Rahul confirmed there will be Quinton de Kock, Naveen-ul-Haq, Marcus Stoinis, and vice-captain Nicholas Pooran as four overseas options.

Among the other major developments, KL Rahul, who is in contention for India’s T20 World Cup 2024 squad, will keep wickets despite having two of the designated wicket-keepers in their playing XI – Pooran and Quinton de Kock. In fact, don’t be surprised if Rahul comes to bat in the middle-order, instead of his familiar position at the top.
