The face of the Indian women cricket, Smriti Mandhana, in a recently shared video, has been seen flaunting her engagement ring. In the video shared by her fellow teammate, Jemimah Rodrigues, on Instagram, Mandhana danced on Munna Bhai MBBS's "Samjho Ho Hi Gaya" song, eventually showing off her diamond-studded ring. 

Amid her marriage talks with Palaash Muchhal, reposting the the video on her social media profile, Mandhana announced her long-awaited engagement with the Indian music composer.

How long have Smriti Mandhana and Palash Muchhal been dating?

Smriti and Palaash’s relationship has long been admired for its quiet charm. After nearly five years of dating, the much-adored couple went public in mid-2024. The duo shared glimpses of their journey while keeping most of their personal lives out of the spotlight. 

According to media reports, Smriti Mandhana met composer Palash Muchhal in 2019, bonding over common friends and shared interests in music and sports. Their friendship soon blossomed, with quiet support for each other’s careers. At first, they kept their growing connection out of public view. Nonetheless, the 30-year-old was often seen supporting the cricketer on the field.

According to reports by Moneycontrol, Smriti Mandhana and her long-time boyfriend, Palaash Muchhal, have officially started their pre-wedding ceremonies in Indore, Madhya Pradesh. Days after winning the ICC Women's World Cup 2025, Indian vice-captain Mandhana is set to tie the knot with a well-known singer and composer, Palaash Muchhal. 

As seen in the viral videos from Indore, the Muchhal family are hosting the first round of pre-wedding rituals, marking the start of one of the most talked-about events of the year. 

Moreover, a viral wedding invite has all but confirmed the big day on 23 November. Notably, earlier reports of the wedding and engagement on November 19 and 20 had surfaced on social media. That being said, celebrations are expected to spread across Sangli and Indore.
