In a riot of colours and delight, Rajasthan Royals brought the festival of Holi to life in Jaipur, painting the town with hues that even the rainbow might envy.

Amongst the players were the stalwarts of the team, from captain Sanju Samson with his infectious smile to the spinner Yuzvendra Chahal, the young gun Yashasvi Jaiswal, and the promising Dhruv Jurel among others.

However, the centre of attention of this celebration was none other than the team's pacer, Trent Boult, who embraced the festival with open arms and a spirit as vivid as the colours that wrapped him.

As the festival of Holi unfolded, a video shared by Rajasthan Royals on their Twitter account summed up the essence of the celebration. Trent Boult, donning a white kurta and turban, got covered head to toe in the team's synonymous pink.


His greeting of "Happy Holi" in the video was just the prelude to a colourful incident that saw him go from a white kurta to a canvas of pink, thanks to a playful ambush by teammate Yashasvi Jaiswal and the rest of the team. The video went viral in no time as fans lauded Boult for his incredible enthusiasm.

“Boulty wali Holiiii!,” wrote Rajasthan Royals along with laughing and pink heart emoticons.



Meanwhile, fresh off a comprehensive 20-run victory over the Lucknow Super Giants in their opening game of IPL 2024, the team will look forward to carrying their winning streak into their next clash against Delhi Capitals on Thursday, March 28 in Jaipur.
