In a delightful display of talent that goes beyond the cricket field, Kolkata Knight Riders' captain Shreyas Iyer has once again grabbed the limelight, this time not with his cricket bat but with his dance moves.

Known for his brilliance on the cricket pitch, Iyer has demonstrated that his talents are not confined to sports alone. 

The cricketing sensation was recently seen in a viral video, grooving to the tune of "Jhoome Jo Pathaan," a popular number from Shah Rukh Khan's blockbuster, 'Pathaan'.

The video, which quickly caught fire on social media, features Shreyas Iyer dancing with gusto, between two equally talented dancers. 

His attire for the performance, a sleek all-black ensemble, only added to the charisma of his dance moves, leaving fans both in the audience and online in total awe.

The performance took place during a segment on Star Sports, underlining Iyer's ability to steal the show regardless of the stage. 

His confident and professional-quality dance moves to the rhythm of "Jhoome Jo Pathaan" not only entertained fans but also served as a fitting tribute to Shah Rukh Khan, the co-owner of KKR and the star of 'Pathaan'.


Meanwhile, this multi-talented display from Iyer comes at a time when spirits are high within the KKR camp, following a nail-biting victory in their opening match of the IPL 2024 season against Sunrisers Hyderabad.

KKR's thrilling performance on the field saw them setting a formidable target of 208/7, a score they defended successfully, clinching the win by a hair's breadth of 4 runs on the last ball of the match.

The KKR team is now set for their next challenge against Royal Challengers Bangalore, scheduled for Friday, March 29, at the M.Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru.
