Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) co-owner Shah Rukh Khan made a starry appearance at the IPL 2024 match between KKR and Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB). Following KKR's last-over win, the celebrated actor was captured engaging with the players in a post-match interaction, reflecting his unconditional support for the team.

A video circulating on social media captures SRK expressing gratitude to KKR fans at the Eden Gardens for their steadfast support. 

He then proceeded to interact with players and coaching staff members, sharing moments of camaraderie and appreciation. 

Notably, SRK engaged in a conversation with KKR mentor Gautam Gambhir and greeted uncapped Indian players before embracing Andre Russell, the standout performer of the match. 

In a gesture of delight, SRK whispered words of encouragement to Dre Russ, who emerged as the hero of the match. Additionally, he interacted with Rahmanullah Gurbaz and Rinku Singh, fostering unity within the team.  

Concluding the video, Shah Rukh Khan posed for a picture with the ground staff, acknowledging their invaluable contributions.

SRK is widely recognized as one of the most supportive franchise owners, remaining loyal to his team in both good times and bad. However, he faced criticism after being spotted smoking in the VIP lounge during a match. 

Photographs and videos capturing the incident circulated rapidly on social media, sparking debate about his actions given his status as a youth icon.

Interestingly, this incident occurred amidst a pivotal moment for Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR). Despite the controversy, KKR experienced a significant turnaround in their fortunes. They achieved an impressive victory, thanks to the outstanding performances of Andre Russell, Ramandeep Singh, and Harshit Rana.
