[Watch] Babar Azam-Led Pakistan Go Shopping In Kolkata Ahead Of Crucial ENG-PAK

With chances of qualifying for the semi-finals of the ICC Cricket World Cup 2023 in India still alive, Pakistan took some time off the hard grind and had a much-needed break last evening in Kolkata.

Led by Babar Azam, Team Pakistan will play defending champions England in their final group match on Saturday at Eden Gardens, in hopes of getting into the semi-final.

On Tuesday, several Pakistan players took time off and headed off the a local mall named 'Mani Square', which is situated close to the team hotel.

Clips have surfaced on the social media platform 'X', where players such as Mohammad Wasim Jr, Abdullah Shafique, Zaman Khan, Usama Mir, Agha Salman, and Mohammad Haris could be shopping and relishing their shopping trip. 

Mir could also be been clicking pictures with fans, who greeted the players with warmth and affection.

Skipper Azam also spent time away from cricket and played golf during his visit to Royal Calcutta Golf Club along with bowling coach Morne Morkel and head coach Grant Bradburn. Azam also visited Eco Park and tasted Kolkata's famous biryani. 

Team Pakistan reached Kolkata on Sunday, and have been on a two-day break, giving players a chance to recuperate and get energized. 

Earlier, Team Director Mickey Arthur complained about how security and being confined in the hotel is taking a toll on Pakistan players, who have not been able to roam around freely.
