Sanjana Ganesan & Son Angad Celebrate Jasprit Bumrah's Six-Fer In Cape Town Test

Sanjana Ganesan, wife of Jasprit Bumrah, posted a touching photo of their son Angad, captivated by his father's stellar five-wicket performance against South Africa in the second Test. 

India's pace spearhead added another feather to his cap on Thursday, January 4, as he clinched his ninth five-wicket haul by dismissing four batters in the morning session of day two in Cape Town. 

In the final session on Wednesday, Bumrah dismissed Tristan Stubbs. On Thursday, he continued his magnificent form by taking his second wicket, David Bedingham, in the very first over of the day. 

Then, Bumrah went on to grab the wickets of Kyle Verreyenne and Marco Jansen and wrapped it up by sending Keshav Maharaj packing and completing his yet another impressive five-wicket haul.  

Bumrah stole the show, wrapping up the day with six wickets for 61 runs as South Africa were bowled out for 176. While fans sing his praises, Sanjana shared an adorable photo of their son witnessing his father's stellar performance. 

Sanjana Ganesan took to her official Instagram to share a snapshot of little Angad, eyes fixed on the TV, watching his father rattle the Proteas' batting lineup. 

South Africa posted their all-time low Test total against India, collapsing for just 55 runs. India, in response, managed only 153 runs. In the second innings, South Africa was dismissed for 176, setting India a target of 79 runs for victory.
