Anushka Sharma and Athiya Shetty were spotted sitting together and watching the second test between India and South Africa at Cape Town, on Wednesday, January 3.
Anushka Sharma, the well-known Bollywood actress and wife of Virat Kohli, made an early trip to South Africa before the new year. Pictures of her having lunch in the rainbow nation went viral on social media.
Now, it appears Athiya Shetty, the wife of KL Rahul, has also travelled to South Africa to celebrate the new year with her husband.
India faced a humiliating loss in the first test against South Africa at Centurion, succumbing by an innings and 32 runs. The dream of clinching a test series victory in South Africa remains elusive once more.
Team India's batting was a complete letdown in the series opener, with only KL Rahul and Virat Kohli shining. Rahul's brilliant century and Kohli's exceptional half-century in the second innings stood out for the visitors.
Team India stands a strong chance of levelling the series by winning the ongoing second test at Cape Town. They have already made a significant move by bowling out South Africa for just 55 runs in the first innings.
