Mumbai Indians (MI) have taken the wraps off their official anthem for the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2024 season in a bid to boost the passion of fans and pay tribute to the incredible spirit of Mumbai, the. Dubbed 'Mumbai Meri Jaan', the anthem is a wonderful reimagining of last year's theme song with the same name.

The anthem's unveiling has been a much-anticipated affair, promising to bridge hearts and erase any brewing storms between players. 

It features a plethora of stars from the Mumbai Indians squad, including the new captain Hardik Pandya, and former captain Rohit Sharma alongside the legendary Sachin Tendulkar and owner Nita Ambani.

Sung by the famous musician Shaan, the latest Mumbai Indians anthem brings together the old and new members of the team, highlighting the team's unity and spirit. 

The video, which lasts for a little over a minute, shows key players like Jasprit Bumrah, Ishan Kishan, Suryakumar Yadav, and others, climaxing with Hardik and Rohit, dispelling any rumours of a rift by sitting side by side.

This sight comes as a breath of fresh air, especially after the turbulence that followed Rohit's replacement as captain. The franchise's decision to give both Rohit, a former 5-time champion, and Hardik Pandya, the torchbearer of MI's future, equal limelight in the anthem has been met with applause.
