'Yes And No' - Hardik On His Conversation With Rohit Sharma After MI Captaincy Change

Hardik Pandya has been the talk of the town since his move to MI before the IPL 2024 auctions. He replaced Rohit Sharma as captain of Mumbai Indians and was criticised from all corners.

He was labelled as a selfish cricketer around the cricketing circles and MI franchise as a whole was under the pump. However, Hardik Pandya, ahead of IPL 2024 has now opened up about his move to MI and his equation with Rohit Sharma. 

The all-rounder was also asked whether he had a chat with Rohit after replacing him as captain and Hardik as always was pretty honest in his answers.

The new MI skipper mentioned that he hasn't got lot of time to talk with Rohit Sharma because Rohit was always touring with the Indian team and added that he will catch up with Rohit Sharma once the former skipper joins the team.

"Yes and No. I haven't got a lot of time to talk with Rohit because he has been touring. I will definitely catch up when he links up with the team."

Mumbai Indians have a strong arsenal at their disposal for IPL 2024 and Hardik's presence has added more depth and balance to their squad. MI will kickstart their campaign against Hardik's previous franchise GT on 24th of March at Ahmedabad.
