Suryakumar Yadav, India's T20 format captain currently on a Sri Lanka tour, took to social media to express his admiration and support for Indian Olympic shooting sensation Manu Bhaker, who just won a bronze medal to open India's medal tally at the Paris Olympics.

Indian cricket team, led by Suryakumar Yadav and mentored by head coach Gautam Gambhir, won the first T20I of the three game series against Sri Lanka yesterday by a comfortable margin of 43 runs.

Suryakumar Yadav played a captain's knock of 58 runs off just 26 deliveries to propel India to a 213-run first-inning score. Moreover, Riyan Parag, Axar Patel and Arshdeep Singh defended the total well to take a 1-0 lead into the series.

That being said, with the second game scheduled for later in the day, Suryakumar Yadav took some time from his schedule to root for the Indian athletes currently competing at the Paris Olympics.

SKY posted multiple stories on his Instagram profile in support of shooter Manu Bhaker. She qualified for the final round yesterday, and today, Manu came third to clinch a bronze medal for India.

She not only became the first Indian woman to win a medal in shooting at Olympics, Bhaker also opened up India's medal tally on Day 2.

Meanwhile, SKY was in awe of Manu Bhaker's dedication and focus during the final round. He highlighted how, despite being just 22 years old, Manu broke stereotypes to bring glory to the nation on the world stage.

That being said, Suryakumar Yadav will be leading India in 2nd T20I against Sri Lanka later on Sunday at Pallekele International Cricket Stadium and the match will commence from 7.00 PM IST onwards.
